 Angel Millan showed a talent for music at an early age, and was introduced to the congas when he was five by his father; a Conguero, who played with various Latin bands in the 50s & 60s around the New York area.
He has performed at Jazz festivals and various jazz venues on the East Coast, as well as recorded with Paquito D=Rivera and Slide Hampton, and most recently can be heard on Iguazu's All You Need CD. He plays not only congas, but bongos, timbales and a large array of percussion instruments, making him a valuable addition to any Afro-Cuban and Latin settting. |
